The Mid Lincs division of the Military Vehcile Trust was founded by a group of friends from across East Lincolnshire, each owning, and produly maintaining their own military vehicles. Frustrated by the lack of such a group in the area, William Elkington decided that it would be good to have the small group officially recognised as an MVT division, and after its inaugration into the natiownide group, the Mid Lincs division soon grew in membership.
